I probably shouldn't have called the RX 480 a "flagship", but it is currently their top-of-the-line Arctic Islands offering, so let's not split hairs. You launch a new product line, and the best you c...

Strategy? AMD doesn't have a strategy outside of "don't go bankrupt." Do you know nothing of the company's financial struggles and internal turmoil? Nvidia is a software company? Since when? NV1? ...

First you claim Nvidia is a software company, and now you're claiming AMD is a small company? I'm utterly baffled at how you view the world. Stating that Intel has never made a discrete GPU, or that ...

ah yeah, that will do it. 7990 runs at the boost clocks in linux out of the box (1000/1500), so you'll need to use overdrive to push the clocks back down to the stock 925/1375. 7990 is very sens...

no, that will not work, because the x server on the onboard display would be using a different driver, and thus wouldn't help you one bit. you can run an x server on the onboard display if you want, b...

$10 says he's trying to build a botnet with malware that wraps oclHashcat. But it's obvious he's just a script kiddie who has no idea how the program works, so thankfully he'll likely fail.

Just looks like an ASIC hang. +225 clock offset is rather aggressive (depending on the factory clocking), try reducing it to 200.
