| You need to stress test the card under compute workloads, not gaming workloads. GTA-V will not stress the GPU anywhere near like md5stress or MD4 single hash brute force will. |

| the crypt() algorithms are probably the most worthwhile, especially since sha512 has been in glibc since 2.7. truecrypt would be cool as well though. |

| On Gentoo/Funtoo I think you need to 'emerge intel-opencl-sdk' or something similar. Just helped a friend set up Hashcat on her Gentoo box and I believe that was the package we used that worked. |

| No :( You need xorg to enable CoolBits and set the Performance Level. You also need xorg to disable the kernel timeout.

| check your clocks. maybe one card is factory overclock and the other one isn't.
100 Mhz overclock is quite mild, so you likely won't have any issues running that 24/7. |
