supercl reduces the amount of kernel executions that occur over the network. instead of making one call for each kernel execution, it allows you to make just one call for *all* your kernel... |

VCL does not use Catalyst. Use --force with vclHashcat to ignore the message about the driver. Your compute nodes absolutely must be using 12.8. |

My point is that there's no way for us to know what you have done in order to help troubleshoot your environment. But you did in fact deviate from the wiki when you used VCL 1.16. Nobody has gotten 1.... |

it's not a huge pain to configure the broker on a compute node, no. just follow all of the instructions in the wiki for the broker configuration on one of your compute nodes. |

It means your broker ran out of memory. The only person I know who has had this problem ended up having a misconfigured network, where he tried to multi-home each node but he put the second NICs on a ... |

yeah, rurapenthe thought it was a memory leak, too. bitched about how the oclHashcat process was leaking like a sieve. turns out, it was his misconfigured network the whole time.

it's the same thing.
can you do further testing to determine if you're only seeing this with certain algorithms, certain modes, certain number of hashes, plus vs lite, etc? |
