Thread: 1080gtx running slow with WPA
Post: RE: 1080gtx running slow with WPA
At stock clocks you should be around 415 KH/s, with an overclock you should be around 530 KH/s. So yes, 290 KH/s is pretty low -- that's actually right in line with how a GTX 1070 performs. Assuming y... |

Post: RE: 1080gtx running slow with WPA
Are you sure there's only one handshake in your capture? Because it sounds like there may be two different SSIDs. |

Two Hashcat processes running simultaneously? One you forgot about running under screen? :P I don't know, I'm kind of at a loss on this one. |

To narrow down whether this is a driver issue, or an issue with Hashcat with the new AMD GPUs, please test without KVM. |

Thread: Multi-CPU utilization for combinator attack on a modern GPU
Post: RE: Multi-CPU utilization for combinator attack on...
Hmm doesn't quite sound like you have a grasp on the issue. Are you talking about when piping combinator.bin from hashcat-utils into oclHashcat via stdin? If so, the issue isn't that it can't generate... |

Post: RE: Multi-CPU utilization for combinator attack on...
Candidates are not generated on the CPU, they are generated on the GPU. The only time this is not true is if using an external generator and piping into oclHashcat, in which case you need to add ampli... |

most of the advice you'll find on the forums (including advice i provide) is largely using desktop hardware, which may not be ideal for professional use. |

Thread: again AMD (290X/390x) vs NV GFX 970
Post: RE: again AMD (290X/390x) vs NV GFX 970
GTX 970 is roughly the same speed as 290X while drawing half the power, and won't damage your motherboard like the 290X will. And also fuck AMD. |

Those are not reference design GPUs. You will have serious cooling problems trying to stack four of those on top of each other.
You need to do some more research. |
