Thread: GPU not registering in Hashcat
Post: RE: GPU not registering in Hashcat
Knew it. Your risers are certainly to blame. If you're using the USB-style risers, get better quality USB cables and ensure all of the connections are firm and properly seated. If you have the ribbon ... |

Post: RE: Hashcat Gentoo - Cracks hashes twice
hashcat-cli does not have full potfile support like oclHashcat has, it's basically just an output file and nothing more. The traditional way to solve this problem is to use the --remove switch to remo... |

Thread: ecryptfs H/s
Post: RE: ecryptfs H/s
1. Yes, ecryptfs is very slow -- but so is your GPU. A good modern GPU will be more than twice as fast as that. GTX 970 for example achieves ~ 6500 H/s on ecryptfs, while a Titan X achieves ~ 10000 H/... |

Post: RE: ecryptfs H/s
If you have a sha512crypt hash and you know it's the same password, then yes you'd absolutely target the sha512crypt hash instead.
I'm not sure which online services/lists you're referring to, but I ... |

There's no point in adding WEP to oclHashcat when it can be cracked in under 2 minutes on a mobile phone. |

you do not want to install the SDK as it supplies an old version of libOpenCL. so that advice is definitely not wrong. |
