Post: RE: selective GPU temp abort

While the 290X is capable of running up to 95C, it shouldn't be getting anywhere near that hot. Especially if the other three cards are water cooled, that 290X really shouldn't be getting any hotter t...

it depends entirely on how much ram your graphics card has. setting the following environment variable will help as well: Code: -- export GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT=95 -- if that still doesn't help, y...

Keyspace is 10^16, do math. 10^16 / 41000 / 31556926 = 7729 years Working backwards, 10^16 / 31556926 = 317 MH/s to crack it in one year Or, 10^16 / 31556926 / 316000 = Cluster of 1003x...

Those flags do not do what you think they do. The cool kids would actually process the list and transform the data into the required format. This is where knowing your OS really comes in handy (and in...

You said this was a wordlist, not a hash list. Those flags do not apply to wordlists. I'm not sure what you mean by 'command line injection script'. Do you mean some malicious code embedded in a wo...

Post: RE: AMD HD 6990 GPU and Amdgpu-pro driver

You switched from Nvidia to AMD? That's a bit backwards. AMD dropped support for TeraScale GPUs so you'll need to use an old fglrx driver (15.09 or 15.12 should work) along with an older distribution ...

301 usually means you unpacked the archive wrong, but since you're able to crack other formats, not sure what's up. I would suggest using beta instead though.

Well 301 means "file not found" so it's tell you it's not able to find the kernel file. But it's strange that it would be intermittent like that.
