    Thread: FirePro V7800
Post: RE: FirePro V7800

Firepro v7800 is an underclocked HD 5850. So old and slow. Moreover, AMD is dropping support for their VLIW5 cards in the next driver release, so you wouldn't be able to use this GPU for very long.

I typically do not recommend using UPS for cracking rigs. For one, as radix identified, UPS won't do a whole lot for a cracking rig under load. Most likely won't even keep it on long enough to gracefu...

Yes it's true, it hasn't been released so there's no annoucement, but you can download a snapshot from /beta or pull from github and build from source.

Your problem is ''-username''. Since you only have one dash before the word 'username,' getopt is interpreting that as "-u sername" and telling you that 'sername' is not a valid value. Long options al...

Hmm, you state the algorithm is "md5(md5($username.$pass).$salt)", but then state that the username is static and it has no salt. So it does not seem like you have the correct algorithm, and it seems ...

@rsberzerker you do not need a 128-bit CPU and/or 128-bit OS to do 128-bit math ;) Internally hashcat uses uint64 for pretty much everything, including keyspace. But as hardware gets faster and clust...
