Post: RE: Nvcuda.dll missing?

nvidia driver. you're missing the cuda runtime. make sure you install the latest version from nvidia.com, and ensure the installer completes without errors.

First, use the CPU instead of the integrated GPU. Second, do what Hashcat is telling you to do: use -n 1

Read the output of --help to determine how to select which devices and platforms to use. In your earlier post you were using -w 1, not -n 1.

Appears to be based on SHA1. Maybe salted with channel name or something?

i do not know of anyone who has had to do this with 13.1, and especially not on 12.04. people did have to do this on 12.10 with Catalyst 12.8, but 13.1 worked for them afaik. anyway, if you followed ...

Speed was lower because you cracked the password immediately, didn't get a chance to do any work. Moreover, as was already mentioned, you need to add an amplifier to gain any acceleration.

Sounds power-related to me. How big are the power supplies in these systems, and how many GPUs per system? Most of the boards produced by Supermicro and Tyan have a clause buried deep in the docume...

That's a sufficiently large PSU, but I'm still kind of leaning towards power. Here's why: With two cards that violate the PCI-e spec, you receive errors. With a card that adheres to the PCI-e spec,...

Just looks like an ASIC hang. +225 clock offset is rather aggressive (depending on the factory clocking), try reducing it to 200.

Post: RE: PCI SERR with AMD but not NVIDIA

Ah yeah, +225 would put you at well over 1500 Mhz. Should be just fine at +100, and you could probably go up to +200 without issue. But for testing purposes +100 is a good number.

The 6990 draws like 125-150W more than the 290X, so yeah. Yes, we have had several such cases, which is a big reason why we've moved away from AMD and are no longer going to sell any GPU that has a...

The PCI-e slots get burned up from continually pulling more power than they can handle. Slots start dropping off one-by-one.
