Maybe you can post an example hash-plaintext pair that we can use to test. |

Thread: Speed Problem with R9 295X2
Post: RE: Speed Problem with R9 295X2
You must not read the forums very often.
1. Catalyst 14.12 is horribly, horribly broken and is not to be used. You must use exactly Catalyst 14.9.
2. If you are using 14.12 that means you are al... |

Thread: Speed Problem with R9 295X2
Post: RE: Speed Problem with R9 295X2
Power supply is irrelevant. The 295X2 requires nearly 550W when using oclHashcat, but it is only a 500W card. So the firmware will throttle the GPUs to keep the power draw under 500W. This is what AMD... |

Benchmark only runs for a few seconds, not usually enough time for it to throttle.
It's also possible that you were not giving your GPUs enough work to do in your first screenshot. |

No. Again, power supply is irrelevant. The card will do everything it can to keep power consumption under 500W, and that means throttling the GPUs. |

Thread: New Build - liq cooled 7990's
Post: RE: New Build - liq cooled 7990's
are those three radiators really enough? gpufreak has like 2802384032 radiators on his quad 7990 systems. |

eight cards is not possible. max is eight GPUs. so four 7990s max per system. |

ah ok, that makes more sense. but i still don't know if that will be enough radiators. seriously, check out gpufreak's build. you could build a fortress out of all the radiators he has for his 7990s.

Thread: mrtg script for monitoring temperature
Post: RE: mrtg script for monitoring temperature
nicely done!
quick suggestion, though: instead of piping grep into cut, and then into cut again, i would suggest using something like:
Code:
--
awk '/Temperature/ {printf("%d", $5); }'

You would need to buy a new GPU to use cudaHashcat. |
