Thread: 7 GPU set-up
Post: RE: 7 GPU set-up
The GTX 970 reference design is a unicorn, you'd be lucky to find one let alone seven of them. The ASUS card you linked to is a good card though. The estimated wattage for 7x GTX 970 is 980 ~ 1100 wat... |

No. No. No. And also no.
First, I just recommend the GTX 970, not the Titan X. I never mentioned the Titan X in this thread, nor did I mention anything about the Tyan chassis. In fact, rarely do I ev... |

you wonder why there is no "transpancey", yet you have not made any effort to get involved with hashcat. this is your first post on the forums, we've never seen you on IRC, you've never filed any repo... |

Thread: Building 8xhd7970
Post: RE: Building 8xhd7970
if you want to build an 8 GPU rig, you really should use a TYAN FT77B7015. it will save you a TON of headaches.

it's not available in stores in the US either, just from companies who drop-ship it from Tyan.
i'm sure Tyan will ship to Poland, just shoot them an email. |

optimal loops for wpa is 4096, not 1024. keyspace is a bit odd for benchmarking. |

the problem is likely due to you using "combination" mode. oclHashcat-plus can only accept password candidates that are shorter than 16 characters, and by combining the words in your "premium_wordlist... |

The GUI you are using is a third party GUI developed by Blandy. It's not officially supported here, but maybe if you're lucky he will see your post and help answer your questions.

You're missing a mask. But that hash is too slow to brute force anyway. |

Post: RE: Bcrypt recovery with known salt?
it would help if you posted your command line.
also, if you're going to specify a username before the hash, you need to use the --username flag. otherwise, get rid of it and just supply the hash. |

why would you use -u 320 for wpa? that doesn't make any sense. use -u 4096
Code:

epixoip@butters:~/oclHashcat-1.01$ ./oclHashcat64.bin -m 2500 -b
oclHashcat v1.01 starting in benchmark-mode.... |

ah yep, that's it. he's cracking 10 different hashes with 10 different salts. 13099 * 10 = 130990 H/s which is the expected speed. |

Thread: [Bug 0.14] Wrong hash target [Visual Bug]
Post: RE: [Bug? 0.14] Wrong hash target
This is a visual bug only, it still finds the correct password. What you are seeing is not a "corrupt" hash, but rather the byte-swapped hash (SHA1 is big endian, x86 is little endian.) This is actual... |

Code:

{
uint32_t hash[5];
uint32_t bswap_hash[5];
