| Titan X is the best. But no matter which card you buy, you'll never be able to brute force 95^8. You'd need 700 Titan X GPUs to brute force that in one year. |

| there's no performance difference between pcie gen2 and gen3 for hash cracking, and i can't think of any bios issues that would impact performance. so you're barking up the wrong tree.

| This is all moot because the state of OpenCL on FPGA is abysmal, but even if it wasn't, the cost of an FPGA board suited to hash cracking is astronomical. |
