Thread: 2x7990 or 4x7970
Post: RE: 2x7990 or 4x7970
I'm really surprised that you needed to put Accelero coolers on 5870s, especially when you had that much spacing in between them. I like your setup there though, that's pretty slick! |

that's blandyuk's rig.
the speed will not be affected using a 1x slot.
i've daisy-chained extenders and not noticed a difference in speed. |

Post: RE: 2x7990 or 4x7970
1. "normal" is subjective, but anything below ~ 83 is ok. 84-88, keep an eye on things. 89-90, time to start worrying. 91+, kill the load and let it cool. 95 is definitely critical.
2. not sure what ... |

I think you mean Hashcat's fingerprint attack (https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=fingerprint_attack).
And no, PRINCE is not a fingerprint attack. |

no one is going to hold your hand. you need to do some reading. you do not need osx-specific guidance, as the syntax is the same for all operating systems. |

oclHashcat always uses Markov by default everywhere a mask is used, unless you explicitly disable it via the '--markov-disable' switch.
You have a syntax error in the command that you shared. You a... |

maskprocessor is classic incremental, not markov. so you would want to use statsprocessor to see the actual generated words. |

oclHashcat generates plaintext candidates on the GPU, and thus is not able to output candidates to stdout.
So again, you would use statsprocessor. |

no need to use an hcmask file for a single mask. and if you're going to use an hcmask file, your custom charset defines should go in the hcmask file, like so:
?l?u?d,?u?l,?2?l?l?l?1?1?1?1 |

hcmask doesn't support -t, so you'd need to script out this attack. |
