Thread: Nvidia GTX Titan X Benchmarks
Post: RE: Nvidia GTX Titan X Benchmarks
We don't measure "hash correctness", this is not an issue. We measure stability by whether or not the GPU hangs at certain frequencies.
And you could easily measure "hash correctness" by running a li... |

Not going to say it's impossible but this is not something that has been observed. |

The GPU will hang very quickly if the frequency is unstable.
You'd have to do some serious overvolting to get much more of an overclock out of these GPUs. |

"linux is better than windows" is highly subjective and purely a matter of opinion. there are certainly many things that microsoft does better than the open source community.

Thread: best64.rule contest
Post: RE: best64.rule contest
I'm in favor of a new contest, but it should be against a larger corpus of non-uniqued hashes from multiple sources.
best30 & best100 makes sense, but only as long as best30 is simply the top30 rul... |

I strongly disagree, James. Duplicates are essential for sorting rules by probability. Just as you'd never generate an hcstat file with a wordlist that's been uniq'd. By removing duplicates you are sk... |

I would kind of like to see a rolling contest, one that never really ends. Make it an automated website so there's no manual work involved. You just submit your ruleset, it tallies up the score, then ... |
