Thread: Why 7970 GHz Edition 6GB work like a 7970 classic ?
Post: RE: Why 7970 GHz Edition 6GB work like a 7970 clas...
can you explain what you mean by this? the amount of memory does not effect the speed, and especially not with lite since it uses no memory. it will work just like a normal 7970, just about 5% faster ... |

Thread: Why 7970 GHz Edition 6GB work like a 7970 classic ?
Post: RE: Why 7970 GHz Edition 6GB work like a 7970 clas...
nope, memory has nothing to do with it.
even though 7970 runs at a higher clock rate, 6990 is faster because it has more stream processors. 6990 is a 5.1 TFLOPS card, vs 7970 which is only 4.3 TFLOP... |

RPM is irrelevant. What matters is the CFM and static pressure. And dB if this is in earshot. And also the power draw in this case since for some reason he's using some fan controller that only suppor... |

Post: RE: PDF 1.4 Password hash cracking
The reason why you are getting "mask too small" is because of integer overflow. 255^12 > 2^63. |

Thread: 5970's worth buying?
Post: RE: 5970's worth buying?
Haha, to clarify what darkseid means is that they do not adhere to the PCI-e specification. With that wording it makes it sound like the GPUs are not compliant with the PCI DSS :P But actually the 597... |

The only problem here is you center-aligning your posts, and not understanding how hashcat works. |

I've edited your post so that it is actually readable.
You have four problems here:
1. You are using --force. Your system is not properly configured if you need to use this, and you shouldn't po... |

your right keyspace is much larger than your left keyspace. try generating a wordlist out of 199?d and then cracking it with -a 6 as -m 0. |
