is this about Nvidia or AMD? Nvidia does need Forceware, not Catalyst. AMD does only require Catalyst. |

always depends. If you plan on running several million hashes at once, Nvidia is the ay to go. |

also you did not specify that "string" in your hash file (aka salt). |

it tries to read the hashcat.hcstat file from the cwd. If you run bf/markov from any other directory you just get "hashcat.hcstat: No such file or directory". Is this wanted?

most SSDs have higher transfer rates, so reading dicts will be faster. But there is no reason for hashcat to be run off a SSD. |
