Fifos exist in windows but you'll have to write and compile a program to use them. Pretty stupid. |

Thread: [oclHashcat-1.33] clCreateBuffer() -61 Error
Post: RE: [oclHashcat-1.33] clCreateBuffer() -61 Error
The new version probably handles the salts a bit different and hence needs more vram. Split up your hashlist and try again. |

Oh, I'm sorry I didn't read your post properly. Running a mask attack on a single hash should definitely not exhaust your vram. |

Thread: remove un-needed kernels.
Post: RE: remove un-needed kernels.
When you start oclhashcat it shows you which kernel it has loaded. This kernel name includes the codename for your gpu. You can remove all kernels that do not have this codename in their name. |

There should be a parser as part of hashcat-utils, the rest is probably up to you. I'm not aware of any such tool you're looking for. |

Thread: Wordlist approach?
Post: RE: Wordlist approach?
you should really use rules in your first or second round. Depending on how long the run takes use best64.rule or the cut-down version of the d3ad0ne rules (1.5k I think). |
