For WPA the speed difference is irrelevant. Also hashcat cannot further filter the candidates generated by the mask generator.

cannot reproduce with hashcat 0.42 at least oclHashcat-plus-0.10rc2 seems to work fine, too. //edit: can reproduce with 0.09, supposedly already fixed in the latest beta.

if you look closely it's not 1% but -1%. This is because Nvidia restricts the GPU usage information to the developer cards only.

maybe you run hashcat from a dir where you have no write permissions? Hashcat will try to write hashcat.pot to the CWD.

oclhashcat-plus does this for performance reasons. It is implemented that way and you can't change anything about it.
