cannot reproduce with hashcat 0.42 at least oclHashcat-plus-0.10rc2 seems to work fine, too. //edit: can reproduce with 0.09, supposedly already fixed in the latest beta.

It's not about the security of the handshake but the security of the encryption used between client and router.

Actually the common practice of storing hashes as a hex-string is just as stupid as using a simple hash function like md5 for protecting passwords. Just a waste of space.
