What i was referring to is that everyone is able to reverse engineer the binary executable and figure out how the file gets decrypted. It's about the same level of security as locking your car and hid...

remove only removes one instance of the hash. If it appears multiple times it will only be removed once. sort -u your hash files before running.

this limit has nothing to do with plus or lite. Implementing in lite would only mean you are limited to mask attacks.

At least for older versions I remember 55 chars to be a limit. 2*md5 = 64 chars. Not sure if this still applies.

Since oclHashcat has abandoned the 16 char limit for passwords these kind of passwords are not a challenge any more. With proper dicts and attack mode you can find them easily. Mainly just dict + rule...
