get some 5gb partition, install ubuntu there and test of it works. If it does your other installation is screwed. |

this is not related to this bug and should therefore be in a new thread. Also hashcat works heavily multithreaded, unless you run on cpu with -n1 it will always "mix" the results. |

hashcat doesn't care for file extensions. Just read the goddamn error msg...

all in all the performance is ok. you can tweak --gpu-loops and -n to get some improvement. |
