hashcat has predefined character sets and I highly recommend them over specifying each letter by itself. Also, the command in the first post seems to have ?1=?2 and ?3=?4 that doesn't make sense. More... |

Depending on your budget simply get the best nvidia consumer GPU you can afford. With only one GPU and no 24/7 usage there is not much you need to worry about. |

depends on the attacks you run. For wordlist attacks (a0) with no or few rules your bandwidth will limit the cards. With those cards you might even see a bottleneck with slower algorithms such as WPA ... |

pocl and hashcat don't work together well. If possible try to install rocm. I'm not sure if rocm works on FreeBSD. |
