Really, there is no good answer to that question. Brute-force would eventually (read: sometimes long beyond the end of our solar system or the universe) find your password. A good best-effort solution...

Your command line doesn't make sense. Either you use straight wordlist mode (a0) and pipe something in (a stupid idea in your case) or you use hashcat's native mask attack (a3) and specify the correct...

Are you using risers? One of them might be defective. You can try running the attack on individual devices.

@Chick3nman: he's using -b and hence should be using optimized kernels already I think. My single 1060 pulls roughly 20 GH/s, so a 1070 + 1080 should be faster than 27 GH/s. Wouldn't that be about the...

Looks like -w 3 in benchmark mode for some reason also implies not using optimized kernels (which can be turned on again by specifying -O). That's a little confusing.

The most pressing issue here is apparently bad cooling. You can either do manual fan control or underclock/undervolt the gpu.

Of course you need to install drivers for all devices. I don't understand why you can't install both drivers.

That's only possible by running different hashcat instances on each device.
