Post: RE: MSI Afterburner fan control

try --gpu-temp-disable to disable hashcat's fan control. Maybe there's a conflict.

Post: RE: multi hash

If you are cracking different networks at a time there cannot be any speed improvement. The handshake is salted with the SSID.

yes, it's simply chaining the rules.

If you want to use more than 8 gpus you must use nvidia. The latest nvidia chipset is recommeded over amd.

Post: RE: Multiple Handshake in a file.

hashcat will try to crack all handshakes if you concatenate them into a single file. It's a binary format and documented here: https://hashcat.net/wiki/doku.php?id=hccapx

Especially with WPA there is a chance of transmission errors. For other hash types less so.

No, it doesn't. -D selects the device type and 2 is for GPU. Also, for functional testing the workload factor is irrelevant.

Your speed depends on the number of iterations. You can only achieve the same speed as the benchmark with a hash that has the same number of iterations (or less).

I have no idea what your scripts are doing but they are doing it wrong. The hcmask file definitely does not allow leading zeros.

no, it doesn't. there are no instances of .?1 or .?2 and a "normal" IPv4 representation does not have leading zeros I generated that hcmask file :P
