you have to run a x-server, at least for amd cards. btw, kde/gnome are no "x-servers" but window managers... you don't need a window manager at all.

Since the 2000 series FE cards are no longer recommended because they don't have a blower fan any longer and thus are not suitable for stacking multiple cards in one case. For RAM the rule of thumb...

You need to escape special characters your shell interprets. Read up on how to use your shell or put the hash in a txt file.
