Post: RE: looking for affrodable GPU

I don't think AMD 7xxx cards still have opencl support, hence won't work with hashcat. Besides. AMD cards quickly overheat/heat throttle and need much more power.

750TI is definitely the slowest of the three. Not sure about 960 vs 1050.

It's hard to find benchmarks for those cards precisely because nobody even bothers buying them for hashcat. Here is a benchmark for P400, I have no idea how it compares to a P40 though: https://hashca...

The LM hashes are only used by old versions of AD servers, which is why they are sometimes kept iirc.

each NTLM hash should have two corresponding LM hashes, so you do not need to BF the second part of the password.

exactly It might be useful to convert the LM results to lower-case for that attack. You are likely to get hits a litte bit faster because passwords tend to mainly consist of lower case characters.

ASICs are very very specific about the thing they do. You won't be able to utilise those for anything but litecoin mining.

hashcat returns a completely different error, that is definitely a different problem. Have you tried saving as UTF8 (no BOM)?

Hashes generally have to be in one single line. Your browser probably adds line breaks on the example hash page for easier readability.
