It's not about the security of the handshake but the security of the encryption used between client and router.

Usually there should be about one thread per shader core I think. But how exactly each of those threads works and how the workload profile factors in there is black magic to me.

this is just a warning and will prevent you from getting the temp and/or usage of the card. The error is something different.

That's a pretty efficient heating device you got there. But doing anything other than using that for heating is a waste of time (and power).
