just a note: if you still get the warning about the failing self-test something as wrong and you will not be able to crack the hash. |

that does not look like it is meant to be utf16. While the first character is chinese the second is not. Looks more like arabic. |

Those screenshots don't indicate any error/problem. Your cards are detected. |

From the screenshots you have posted that does not seem to be the case. Both your Nvidia cards are listed and apparently being used, your CPU is skipped. |

whatever other OS you have on your computer is probably better for using with hashcat than The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali). |

It's a nice idea for an external tool but definitely should not end up in hashcat. |

Thread: Having hashcat check certain websites for known hashes
Post: RE: Having hashcat check certain websites for know...
hashcat is a specialised utility for cracking hashes quickly and efficiently. Querying third-party websites is totally out of scope and would require lots of additional maintenance, too. |

Thread: Have things improved?
Post: RE: Have things improved?
It is probably possible to get The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) working, but don't ask how. Ubuntu is recommended.

wordlist is (almost) always slower than bf. Additionally 7zip may have been using slightly different settings. I'm not sure what kind of variables the algorithms allows. |
