Thread: M02500-optimized.cl missing
Post: RE: M02500-optimized.cl missing
A failing self-check usually means the driver has a bug. Don't expect anything when disabling that. From that I gather, however, that you are still able to start hashcat and the error is suddenly gone... |

keepass has a variable iteration count. The example hash uses 24569 iterations, your hash has 60000. |

Thread: 2080TI keepass2 speed
Post: RE: 2080TI keepass2 speed
considering this benchmark (https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-8028.html) for a 2080 has 159kH/s at 6k iterations, 22kH/s at 60k iterations for a 2080TI seems like a good number. |

it says right there in the error message that the OpenCL drivers you are using are buggy. Buggy can mean it works in some cases but not others.
Besides, your benchmarks are only using your AMD gpu ac... |

Thread: question for
Post: RE: question for
You could probably even come up with an algorithm that does it with SIMD, but if the overall gain is a 5ms faster hashcat startup that's not really something worth benchmarking and/or optimizing. |

Thread: how is --hex-wordlist supposed to function?
Post: RE: how is --hex-wordlist supposed to function?
as the name of the option suggests, it expects all lines in the wordlist to be hex-encoded. What exactly did you expect the option to "take care of"? |

indeed that doesn't seem to work.

as the command line indicates, this is utf-16le.
