Thread: Don't work Sha-1(base-64)
Post: RE: Don't work Sha-1(base-64)
these are not exactly SHA1 hashes but base64(hex(sha1($pass))) ones. You need to base64-decode the hashes before you can crack them. |

how do you expect to crack the password "hashcat" with a wordlist attack if your wordlist does not contain the word "hashcat"? |

Post: [bug] oclHashcat-plus not printing plains
Hey,
I'm not sure if there already was a thread like this but I didn't find any.
I was just running a big md5 list and and realizied oclHashcat-plus somehow "forgot" to print the cracked plains ... |

Thread: RX470 - only 14MCU ????

I find the flowchart above very offensive and not true. It's completely ignoring the part where AMD increases the clock rate that subsequently needs to be throttled by powertune. |

The problem is not with your benchmark command but with the post I think. It's cut off in the middle during the Truecrypt benchmarks. Or did hashcat crash at that point? |

Thread: OSX 10.10 hash
Post: RE: OSX 10.10 hash
no, it would throw a syntax error because you're missing a dash in front of "output-file". After you fix that it will run 4-5 length because that's where your mask ends. |
