Post: RE: How i arrange pass for BF?
not even the NSA has enough resources to run this bf, so good luck... yes, it will bf from 8 to 16 chars. However your PC will break before you reach 16 chars. |

Thread: My practice attempt to decrypt a SHA-256 hash of an IP address
Post: RE: My practice attempt to decrypt a SHA-256 hash ...
no, it doesn't. there are no instances of .?1 or .?2
and a "normal" IPv4 representation does not have leading zeros

Thread: SHA1 with long salt - alternatives?
Post: RE: SHA1 with long salt - alternatives?
it's not the length of hash:salt that matters but salt+password length with is restricted to 55 chars. For longer combinations you can try jtr. |

Thread: Sort -u problem

you forgot the leading slash. it should be "/media/" not "media/". "media/" would point to some directory like /your/current/working/path/media/...". Also make sure your external drive is not mounted ... |

Thread: WPA2 crack rules
Post: RE: WPA2 crack rules
That's quite tricky. *hashcat has no functionality to archive this. You can try to use https://www.thesprawl.org/projects/pack/ to generate some mask files or try creating a specific wordlist for this... |

install latest drivers. If this doesn't work, your chip is not supported. Mobile GPUs are often unsupported. |
