as speed doesn't even vary between Win and Linux we can safely assume the kernel won't affect performance at all. |

"low budget" can be a pretty broad definition depending on who you ask.

hashcat doesn't care for file extensions. Just read the goddamn error msg...

Your windows is configured to not show known file extensions. That might have something to do with your problem. |

isn't aircrack good enough for such easy tasks? I think it accepts stdin wordlists, so this is easy to deal with in combination with maskprocessor. |
