Thread: restore file format in 1.36
Post: RE: restore file format in 1.36
but char * on a 64 bit system, wouldn' it produce an 8-byte address while on a 32 bit system it produces a 4-byte address. you can ignore them (big number).
The total keyspace depends on the attack... |

Thread: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
Post: RE: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
If descrypt is really important for you, you better go AMD. The 290x is still the fastest card to crack descrypt hashes. A stock clocked 290x is faster than a +220Mhz overclocked Titan X.
But note,... |

If you add a ticket to TRAC we can make a parser for it so that oclHashcat can natively crack them |

Thread: ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 using Windows 7
Post: RE: ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 using Windows 7
I'm not even sure HD6350 is supported and even if it is, it will be slower than any decent CPU.
Drop them both and buy some decent hardware otherwise you won't have any fun cracking hashes. |

Thread: Lastpass cracking speed

I've the feeling I need to clarify the following:

You are clearly missing -w 3
and

As a workaround, you can use the -m 900 type:

Thread: Did it work?
Post: RE: Did it work?
If it cracks, it says "cracked" in the status line, else it propably says "exhausted" and you need to try a different mask |

Thread: NTLM with GTX 980
Post: RE: NTLM with GTX 980
the benchmark speed is the real speed, the only difference is between the different attack-modes. when you do brute-force, you should get the same speed as with benchmark (do not forget -w 3). |

There's no need to pay. I'd suggest you simply use this rule:
^J $1 $2 $3
and let it run through a big wordlist |
