there is no such 12 character limit. you can already use a 8 + 4 mask (8 on the left, 4 on the right). 0.26 will include BFI_INT, otherwise these numbers wouldnt be possible :) |

that is absolutly correct. the brute-force idea was ok in the past where hashes were ciphers and therefore limited somehow. for example DES which is limited to 8 chars or its children like LM which is... |

everything is fine! not a bug. both oclhc and oclhc+ just can not crack hashes with plain of length >= 16 |

md5crypt is slow but at least you know how the pass is generated. i recomment you to use maskprocessor and pipe it into oclhc+ (one of oclhc+ feature is reading from stdin):
