Here are some 16.30 and 16.7.2 impressions: Driver versions 16.30 (linux) and 16.7.2 (windows) behave almost the same. The performance changes are almost identical and all the other impressions follow...

Note that you don't need to convert it if you want to use it from hashcat as wordlist. Hashcat detects them automatically and converts them internally.

The problem with your CPU is that the latest Intel OpenCL runtime is not compatible with it. See this thread for a solution: https://hashcat.net/forum/thread-5627.html

You just need to create a handful of rules that insert the 1 into all positions starting from 0 to 10 or so.

Nah, Intel GPU are bad, while Intel CPU are good. A good GPU like my 1080 makes ~400000 keys/sec.

The Intel OpenCL runtime 16.1 runs fine on Ubuntu 16.04. It shows that incompatibility error, but it works.
