CPU: Minimum I7 CPU with Haswell microarchitecture or better

I think you're looking for a rule not a mask. With a rule it's possible, see rules/T0XlC-insert_space_and_special_0_F.rule as an example. |

I didn't miss that, it's a typical OpenCL runtime on OSX fail and some of them are being workaround with hashat v3.20. It was just natural to check with workarounds first. Now that the problem persist... |

Yes, I've tried to reproduce. Other software can't crack what came out of 7z2hashcat in your case. So there's a high chance 7z2hashcat has some problem |

Well, MD5 is 128 bit while RC4 (in this case) is only 40 bit. The mode #2 is not made to find collisions, it's more to find the correct password used. Having the correct password gives you the chance ... |

No, you can't reuse this unless the salt length is exactly the same. Otherwise it requires a special kernel module. |

That's only for the 7-Zip algorithm because the password length has a large influence on the cracking speed. Or said a different way, there's no difference between BF and Dictionary if your BF mask is... |
