are you talking about hashcat or oclHashcat-plus? from your commandline it looks like hashcat, but using mp64 for piping words is a common practice for oclHashcat-plus. this is confusing. in case of o...

this was fixed in the meanwhile. to use ? you have to use ??. also you can use --hex-salt or --hex-charset if quoting fails.

well, 0.08 works this way. i found it logic when i wrote it. but in the meanwhile i got main complaints like yours so that 0.09 will change that. the percentage display will be related to --pw-limit
