Do you mean to print it in hex on the debugging output? Hell, it's just debugging output! The ESSID inside the hccapx is already in binary.

Hashcat only can see what's registered in OpenCL. You might want to check your OpenCL installation (done by the driver) or use a different OpenCL program to compare.

It's not hashcats fault, because the memory allocatable is limited by the OpenCL runtime. We've reported this to nvidia, here's a writeup: https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/992502
