Thread: What's wrong with AMD & RAR3-HP
Post: RE: What's wrong with AMD & RAR3-HP
This is another episode of the great AMD OpenCL runtime! I've just tested it locally with my NV GTX1080 and AMD RX480 with the same hashcat version (v3.30-157):

I can increase rule-based attack speed but for the price of a decreased brute-force attack speed.
I can not guarantee the numbers, but after the change all modes will have the same speed.

Yes, you need to go through all of it, and that's your problem because you can't search a 2^112 bit keyspace no matter how fast the kernel is |

Thread: des key collision?
Post: RE: des key collision?
Do you mean having 2 different keys that produce the same CT out of the same PT? Sure, that's possible: https://twitter.com/hashcat/status/775345537210019841 |

Yes, you can crack it with hashcat, but you need to patch the kernel.
I really love such home-cooked algorithms. They always do something stupid, so does this one. I didn't write a poc, but I'm prett... |

After some testing, that error:
Quote:

Invalid hccapx eapol size
--
and/or
Quote:
--
Invalid hccapx signature
--
is somehow related to windows beta binaries. We'll try to fix. |
