Thread: OSX 10.10 (-m 7100) Hash Question
Post: RE: OSX 10.10 (-m 7100) Hash Question
oclHashcat has tougher hash verification checks. Make sure your hash matches the one from the example hash page. |

Thread: identifing hash type

I doubt this will work. But Mem5 is kind of right because there's different base64 encodings floating around. Some of them are written in reverse order, some are not. Are those hashes from the MSSQL U... |

Post: RE: 8 Character Unix DES Question
You can use princeprocessor with oclHashcat by piping it. If you want to crack a fast hash, add the prince specialized rules from the rules/ folder in the princeprocessor package. |

Thread: Bitslice status and broken nvcc
Post: RE: Bitslice status and broken nvcc
OK, so I'm reaching a point where it becomes harder to increase the speed alot. Here's some final values:
290x:
-m 1500: 350 MH/s with dynamic salt, 450 MH/s with fixed salt
-m 3000: 12000MH/s ... |

So there's a drop from 470 MH/s to 251 for dynamic salt support. I'll take it ... |

You can't use raw PBKDF2 modes here, there's some AES128 stuff to be done afterwards. You must stick to -m 6600 mode |

Resume works for rules, too. Bute note the bigger the rules files, the longer it takes to reach a useable restore point, and dive.rule is huge :) |
