Thread: NTLM hash with russian charset
Post: RE: NTLM hash with russian charset
As a workaround, you can use the -m 900 type:

You are clearly missing -w 3

Post: RE: ERROR: clGetDeviceIDs() -1 using Windows 7
I'm not even sure HD6350 is supported and even if it is, it will be slower than any decent CPU.
Drop them both and buy some decent hardware otherwise you won't have any fun cracking hashes. |

If you add a ticket to TRAC we can make a parser for it so that oclHashcat can natively crack them |

Thread: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
Post: RE: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
If descrypt is really important for you, you better go AMD. The 290x is still the fastest card to crack descrypt hashes. A stock clocked 290x is faster than a +220Mhz overclocked Titan X.
But note,... |

but char * on a 64 bit system, wouldn' it produce an 8-byte address while on a 32 bit system it produces a 4-byte address. you can ignore them (big number).

Thread: I don't know what software to use
Post: RE: I don't know what software to use
This is generally not related to the hash-type. It works for all of them. You just need to understand how to write masks. If you partially know strings from the password read this article:

There is no --session parameter for hashcat, only for oclHashcat. But for your needs you should be able to omit it anyway |
