You need to update to a recent driver. The one in Ubuntu 10.10 repo is totally outdated.

With oclHashcat-plus, just add the --username switch to tell oclHashcat-plus that your hashlist contains usernames.

What M@LIK is saying is absolutly correct and thats why all tries < length 8 get rejected. See your rejection counter.

it is required when you use the --show or the --left switch, thats why you can not disable it
