That's because you did check only 348 words yet (28780880 / 82563). You threads alone do 256, not even counted the shader or the -n multiplicator. For sure you didn't reach a checkpoint for restore. P...

As I said already not if you use a single hash. Since bcrypt is salted, there's not benefit (from a time perspective) then to run them all in a single mode in a sequence.

Do you mean to print it in hex on the debugging output? Hell, it's just debugging output! The ESSID inside the hccapx is already in binary.

Since the ESSID is required to be a 0 byte terminated C string, it should be possible to enter any valid ESSID at parameter 3. All you need to do is to setup your terminal correctly.

Try again with example hash from hashcat wiki to make sure your installation is working.

There's no problem dividing the keyspace unevenly. In fact, I wouldn't even do it that way. It's just a nice way to explain the system to new users. For advanced -l calculation you'd use --progress-on...

In case your goal is to have a priority solution it's much easier to handle if you create small packages using -s and -l so that you can switch to a different active package in a small timeframe.

The time it takes depends on the number of amplifiers being used, in this case the rules and also the number of non-unique salts. Both can have a large impact on the time it takes. So I guess with 30k...

Right, that's basically the best way to use hashcat in every case. If possible: For slow hashes try to hold the amplifier around 50-500 amplifier and for fast hashes 500-5000. Shift more data to th...
