In DES, for decrypt, you just access the sboxes in reverse. See https://www.scs.stanford.edu/histar/src/pkg/uclibc/libcrypt/des.c how it handles de_keysl[] and en_keysl[] |

There's no special hardware for WPA cracking. You need to stick to CPU/GPU. |

Post: RE: HC3 not working, vs HC2
No, the opposite. OpenCL is faster, but requires a more modern GPU. That is Shader Model 5.0 or higher. See here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B1S_t1Z0KsqByH3pNkYUM-RCFMu860nlfSsYEqOoqco/ed... |

Thread: Hashcat 3.0 does not crack hashes
Post: RE: Hashcat 3.0 does not crack hashes
Please provide anything (hash, wordlist, commandline, etc) for devs to reproduce this and to ensure it's not a bug, but from 9 of 10 of those cases it's just an invalid OpenCL installation. |

Hashtopus wasn't updated to support hashcat v3.00, so a fork was created called hashtopussy. Never tried it myself. |

Not a bug, it's a feature! Really, you can use hashcat in --stdout mode and pipe it to another hashcat session in stdin mode. Then it will work. Something like this:
