in -a0 (with or without rules), -a1 and -a6 where the dictionary is used as base it's correct, I can confirm. Oh, there is an exception for oversized lines.

this looks like a temperature problem, since your gpu reached the 90c. oclhashcat does not have any influence on the way how gpu bios reacts in such a case, therefore i would recommend you to do --gpu...

It's simple unicode, what else to expect from .net :) To generate the zero bytes you can use --hex-charset or a tricky rule
