Looks like your card hit 90c temperature. In this case GPU bios will clock down your card to 300 Mhz or less.

The total numbers for supported plains in hashcat cpu is 55 (including the ones generated by rules). Also note, if you use ^, to write stuff backwards. Its a common error.

No, CUDA 6 is aimed for GPU beginners. You don't need to understand some basic concepts and can simply start coding. But nothing that helps us in terms of performance.
