2x7870 are around 1.35 times faster than 1x7970, but they produce 350W and the 7970 only 230W TDP |

Thread: New oclhashcat-plus and speed poblems...
Post: RE: New oclhashcat-plus and speed poblems...
Yes, it's true, it's slower, but not 50%. From my tests single hash MD5 with rule based attacks drop is around 25%
Make sure to read the release notes. You need to prepare your dictionaries |

Thread: Piping speed from statsprocessor to oclhashcat
Post: RE: Piping speed from statsprocessor to oclhashcat
Depending on the algorithm you use, this speed sounds to low. For example if this is MD5, you should be in den 500M or more range. If thats so, you might have forgotten to add rules as a multiplier. T... |

Thread: Piping speed from statsprocessor to oclhashcat
Post: RE: Piping speed from statsprocessor to oclhashcat
Try passwordspro.rule. It should be big enough. If you do not get more speed with it than with best64, then you're already running at maximum speed. Also note that rule-based attacks are slower than b... |

I tried to reproduce #1 but failed.
I expect this to be a cr/lf error somehow. Therefore it's important to have a hexdump from a rulefile that creates that error.
Also, did you use b57?

Do not use AMD APP SDK if you want to run oclHashcat. Make sure it's not installed. It's the primary source for strange errors on linux. |

You can also put all characters into a file (all in one line) and then use -1 filename
Should save you headache about the escaping |
