Thread: is descrypt slow after ocl v1.31?
Post: RE: is descrypt slow after ocl v1.31?
I've changed rejection handling for v1.36 as it was with v1.31. It's clearly superior. You should test with latest beta version |

Thread: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
Post: RE: Best card for Descrypt and md5apr1
If descrypt is really important for you, you better go AMD. The 290x is still the fastest card to crack descrypt hashes. A stock clocked 290x is faster than a +220Mhz overclocked Titan X.

Thread: Fiji Kernel Error
Post: RE: Fiji Kernel Error
Damn it, this could have been fixed so easy. If you'd reported it a few days before I've added it for 1.37 support. Now you need to wait for 1.38 :( |

No as I said, it's very simple. I just had to add it to the list of supported devices which is only 1 line added :) |

Thread: hash format for 1password 3.7.2
Post: RE: hash format for 1password 3.7.2
You can't use raw PBKDF2 modes here, there's some AES128 stuff to be done afterwards. You must stick to -m 6600 mode |

No, but they are pure text files. you can simply copy the content of all the rules you want to run at once into a single new file. |

Thread: hashcat-3.00 - potfile behavior / ignored ?
Post: RE: hashcat-3.00 - potfile behavior / ignored ?
If you run the same command twice and unless you use --potfile-disable or something that disables the use of the potfile, the second command will not crack the same hashes again. That didn't change.

Indeed looks like a bug in potfile handling. WPA has a special subsection for it. Need to look into that. Please post a GitHub issue for it. |

Wait, bcrypt have different settings of iterations. Maybe you're trying to crack a bcrypt with a higher iteration than the hash you tried to crack before. |

Try to crack it the same way. If it works, your handshake is broken |

That's why it's not cracking. But that shouldn't occur if the content is "Password", because Passwo... |
