You are right there is a bug related to number of wordlists. Its known and already fixed. Next version will not have this bug.

You can use combinator.bin from hashcat-utils and pipe the stuff to oclHashcat-plus and use multi rules on there.

Never tried to crack bcrypt on NV but if you change the number of hashes the speed should change. If you take a greater wordlist and the speed improves you tried a to small dictionary.

No way hashcat is faster than oclHashcat-plus :) It also should not crash, 0x00 - 0xff is fine. Maybe bad driver installation.

Not related to the dmes warning, but its a good chance its because its 32 bit. If you can, try again with a 64 bit version.
