oclHashcat's code is more optimized, that explains the difference in numbers. but the difference will be the same for all gpu model therefore it's ok to use it as a sort of reference

this looks like a temperature problem, since your gpu reached the 90c. oclhashcat does not have any influence on the way how gpu bios reacts in such a case, therefore i would recommend you to do --gpu...

the speed increase are mostly small but you get a ton of unpredictable problems that make you mad. all in all, overclocking is not what you want.

The-Distribution-Which-Does-Not-Handle-OpenCL-Well (Kali) needs to update to more recent glibc, this is really annoying
