It's also because with mask-attack (or general with brute-force) we can do some optimization because we know what comes "next". Therefore we can make use of meet-in-the-middle etc.

That will not work (or at least very unfair) because of the newly added instructions that make Maxwell that fast. I'm sure CUDA runtime will complain

Please use "7z x" instead of "7z e" to unpack the .7z. Then it should work.
